Pac-Man BioBedding is a unique blend of organic and inorganic ingredients, trace elements, and beneficial fungi that serves to jump start the bioactive environment. Add dechlorinated or R/O water until BioBedding sticks together when squeezed, but no water runs out.</p> <p><strong>Recommended Animals: </strong>Pac-Man BioBedding is specifically designed with Pac-Man frogs in mind. It can also be used with tomato frogs and pixie frogs.</p> <p><strong>Recommended Plants: </strong>Terrestrial plants can be planted directly into BioBedding. Pac-Man BioBedding is a great substrate for most tropical plants, but make sure to match your plants’ needs to your pets’ environment! </p> <ol> <li>Tropical Plant Kits for Animals</li> </ol> <p><strong>Suitable for Misted Setups: </strong>Yes. Pac-Man BioBedding does not require a drainage layer if used with light or hand misting. For automatic misting setups, use in conjunction with a 2" layer of Josh's Frogs <a>False Bottom</a> and a <a>Substrate Barrier</a>. </p> <p><strong>Care: </strong>Pac-Man BioBedding is a naturalistic vivarium substrate and is meant to house a <a>bioactive clean up crew</a>! Stir the surface of Pac-Man BioBedding every 1-2 weeks with a fork, or if waste is visible. Burying waste allows microfauna to process it quicker. Change the substrate when it begins to break down - typically after several years.
